TAUNTON AND DISTRICT COMMITTEE

HELP US RAISE FUNDS

There are so many ways to help our vital local research into prostate and ovarian cancer treatments

The TAUNTON & DISTRICT COMMITTEE is a Somerset branch of the national charity CANCER RESEARCH UK, and was formed in 1977 by a group of individuals who were passionate about research into, and the progressive elimination of, cancer in all its forms in the UK.

Passionate About Research

Since then numerous like-minded folk in the area have given their time and expertise and our group has raised over £2.5 million since formation. This achievement was recognised by the naming and dedication of a laboratory at the CRUK labs in Holborn, London.

Time and Expertise

CRUK employs almost 4,000 people nationwide; the charity has xx shops up and down UK High Streets and xx local Groups of fundraisers and supporters like ourselves. To learn more do visit the website: www.cancerresearchuk.org
